"And if he posts the pic I sent, I probably will kill myself"

Question

K, so I am in a very tough position right now. I was talking to the guy I likes best friend. The guy I like is (edit) famous. Anyways, he told me if u sent him an underwear pic he would give me (edit) (insta famous) kik and number. I was thinking and I sent it. I full on regret doing that because then I told him to give me his kik and he said only for a full nude. I got really mad and said no. Than he said he would post the pic I sent him and he would tag me in it. I am so scared right now cuz I don't want him to post it. Only my best friends know and I don't want anyone else to know. Especially my parents. Please help omg I am so scared I am crying and on the urge of killing myself. And if he posts it, I probably will kill myself. HELP ME

You have a right to feel mad and say no over what he asked you to do. It's not okay for him to blackmail you by saying that if you don't do as he asks, he'll post that photo you sent him. If you are under the age of 18, the photo is considered child pornography and can actually get him in a lot of trouble for possessing it. I'm sorry that you are in this situation, and my hope is that you're not too hard on yourself. We live, we learn. I know that you don't want anyone else to know, and I'm so thankful that you told me, but please know that the police are always an option. Also, if he posts it, you could report this to the website that he posted the photo to. Hopefully they will have it removed. Hopefully...he won't post the photo at all. My fingers are crossed. Please don't let that fear you feel lead you to doing anything permanent. He might not post it. It saddens me that he feels it's okay to threaten you like this. If only he knew how scared and worried you feel, and that you're even thinking about suicide. We're available via telephone 24/7. Our number is 1.800.668.6868 and we're confidential & anonymous. If you feel like you might hurt yourself, call us pretty please. Know that there are people who will try and help you, and we are always here for you as well! Again, if you are under the age of 18, he is in possession of child pornography. You would not get in trouble with the police, and my hope is that your parents would be supportive should they know what happened. If the photo goes online, there is a chance that with contacting the website, they can have that photo removed. He hasn't posted it, right? There is a chance that he won't, so please hang in there. And if he does, there is a chance of having it removed. Will you stay in touch with us? You will be in my thoughts and I am wishing you the very best, Adora (I edited your author name. I hope you don't mind, but I was concerned it was a real name and wanted to protect your anonymity.)
