Supporting Kids Help Phone is easy, fun, and helps give young people access to counselling services when they need them the most. By raising funds for us, you help us provide our services to kids in your community.
No amount is too small or large, and every donation has immediate impact. You’ll be helping to raise awareness about the importance of youth mental health and the broad range of challenging issues facing kids today. You’ll also help build the local profile of an important charity that is open and accessible to young people in every part of the country – by phone and online – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Be a hero in your community and walk to support the mental health and well-being of young people across Canada. Join us on the first Sunday in May at the Walk so Kids Can Talk presented by BMO.
The Boolathon is an annual Halloween-themed fundraiser. Enjoy a fun night of dressing up and bowling with friends, family, or co-workers to raise funds for Kids Help Phone.
Host a fundraising event
We are pleased to be the designated beneficiary of many fundraising events held to raise funds for our cause. For more information on hosting a fundraising event for us, please see our “Events FAQ” or contact the regional office in your area.
Every year, students and schools across Canada host and participate in fundraising events that help us to always be there for kids. Young people tell us these events are an easy way for them to “give back” to an organization that might have helped them, a friend, or family member. It’s the power of kids helping kids.
Students and educators alike can join us on the first Sunday in May to support the mental health and well-being of young people across Canada at the Walk so Kids Can Talk presented by BMO. For more information about how to get involved in a Walk in your area or how to for general questions about organizing a school-based fundraising event, contact the regional office in your area.
Community clubs and associations
Every year, community-minded foundations, clubs, and associations make supporting Kids Help Phone part of their local giving and community building. Kids Help Phone is local because we are everywhere young people are – online and on the phone. Your foundation, club, or association’s support will go a long way towards helping young people in your community.
Where staff and volunteer resources are available, we would be happy to talk with you about making a presentation to your organization about Kids Help Phone and the new reality facing young people today. For more information, please contact the regional office in your area.
